That’s what I did for my dad yesterday! The cards says “Happy Father’s Day!” I know what my dad loves the most, lots of sweets in one so he totally loved it. Father’s Day was celebrated yesterday in my country and I guess other countries have this day later in June, right? So here you go - an idea for surprising your dad! All you can see in the photo are waffles, chocolate, ice-cream and m&m’s. You can add whatever you want of course!

sushi | coffee | ice-cream pink ootd

Thursday, May 31

half of the day was spent in the city with my friends. We ate sushi which was delish just as coffee we had afterwards. Window-shopping after all the eating was really nice. I wasn’t looking for something particular though. A couple of pretty things I saw go to my list of wants, not needs. Hey I might do a wishlist post after I finish this one!

Time for outfit of the day part. I went with this ice-cream pink top today. There really isn’t a tone of pink called like that I’m sure, but the color of my top reminded me of strawberry ice cream so it just popped in my head.

Exam & OOTD

Tuesday, April 17

bonjour mademoiselles, guess who looked fabulous today. Wearing this outfit really made me feel confident at the exam, which went good! As I have mentioned, this was a part of the exam which includes only speaking task. I had a couple of months to prepare for it. I already know my result, it’s 17 points out of 18!! Congrats to me!

After reporting the speech, me and my friend went straight to the restaurant, where (as always) we ate pizza, and then this delicious apple pie yum..

going to post more photos today, cause I took more of them, stay tuned :)

Easter aka Endless Eating

My Easter as always was spent in a small town where our grandparents live. Relatives, including our family, gathered to celebrate Easter or as from my point of view - to eat all the time! Unbelievable amount of food was served, truly a paradise. I got back home kinda dying, I shouldn’t have eaten that much.

Too bad gym today is closed, I feel like I need a good workout right now. But tomorrow that’s the first thing to do. After school of course. Yeah, Spring break’s over. So I didn’t mind sleeping away a half of the last day of this break. I woke up after midday, probably because I was watching How I Met Your Mother last night. The show is so good, I’m already on season 7.

I guess I’ll stop here, hope you all had a nice Easter, because I actually did. Besides all the eating I had a good time with my cousins I haven’t seen in a while. Lucky you if your Spring break is longer than mine and if not, enjoy your last day of freedom like me!

Relief

Sat, March 23rd

I had the most lazy Saturday morning. And I needed that because of this hard past week. I made delicious breakfast and read “Twenties Girl”. Finally I got back to the book, all the stuff at school and homework was keeping me away from reading books I like.

Not only it’s a usual beginning of the weekend and finally having time to relax, but I’m feeling such a relief right now. Yesterday (Friday) I reported my exams’ speech to my teacher, it was just a test before the real exams which are 3 weeks away from now. So did I really let it take over my mind all week? Because I’m so relieved right now, so yeah, maybe I did. Anyway, it went good. Great actually because I got all the points that I could! For now, I just need to survive the next week, which is the last one before Spring break.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned, I’m going to post some more stuff on my blog now that I have time to do that!

Chocolate Muffins

step 1: take a bowl, melt 150g of chocolate and all the butter together;

step 2: take a bigger bowl now, mix eggs and sugar in it using a mixer;

step 3: pour the flour, cocoa and baking powder in a bigger bowl, mix everything evenly;

step 4: pour chocolate+butter in everything;

step 5: chop what’s left of chocolate (should be 50g) into a small pieces and pour in everything;

step 6: pour the dough in a paper muffin cups and put it in the oven (~180C) for 20-30 mins or until they look like in my photo.

Bon appétit!

OATMEAL COOKIES

another super easy recipe! Healthy oatmeal cookies this time.

ingredients: a handful of dried apricots; 200g sunflower seeds; 100g sesame seeds; 300g oats; 2 eggs; 250g butter; ~150g sugar; + optional amount of any other dried fruits or nuts you like

step 1: melt the butter (using the stove); pour oats in it; stir it for several minutes and leave to chill

step 2: mix the eggs and sugar in a bigger bowl; pour everything what’s left in it. Stir until everything’s mixed evenly.

step 3: make a tablespoon sized cookies; put them on a baking tray.

step 4: put it in the oven for 20-30 mins.

Eat only when they’re completely cold.

Bon appétit!

PINEAPPLE ROLLS

I’ve been requested to post some more easy recipes, so I’m sharing this insanely easy one :)

All you’re gonna need is pineapple slices (I don’t really like anything coming from a can, I think it’s an exception this time!) and pre-made dough

step 1: cut the dough into narrow stripes

step 2: wrap the dough around the pineapple slices (use more dough than you see in the 2nd pic)

step 3: whisk an egg and apply it by using baker’s brush (gives a golden color). Sprinkle a little bit of sugar.

step 4: put it in pre-heated oven and leave it here until the color gets golden

Bon appétit!

Biscotti - one of the easiest and really delicious things to make. It’s with nuts and dried fruits. I think next time I’ll try to make chocolate biscotti, with chocolate chips and hazelnuts (:
