Monday, July 9
here we meet again, on Monday. It doesn’t mean I’ll be updating on Mondays only! I’ll do my best to post more regularly.
What I wanted to share today is DIY (Do It Yourself) stuff! Recently I was going through some blogs (diy, interior design and photoblogs) and got inspired to finally make something, since I already have a hand-made clutch I know how good it feels to be carrying around something you made yourself! Above here you see a list of things I’d like to make this Summer. So lets start!
FIRST Inspirational board.
I want to fill in that place above my desk or any spot of my bare ivory-white walls. I don’t like cork boards anymore, I had one in my old bedroom and it’s not just that I want something other than cork board, I just really don’t like the look it would give to my bedroom. So I’m thinking of covering any board in a fabric and strap lots of bands around it, just like you see in a picture. Then I could take nice photographies, pictures or articles and just tuck it behind the stripes or pin it with those small colorful clothespins.
SECOND Studded collar shirt.
I could say that this DIY is already in progress! I have already bought a white plain shirt for it and ordered gold pyramid studs. I’m expecting to get them in a week, so that is what keeps me away from actually making it. I don’t know how am I going to stud the collar, I’m thinking of only a couple of studs on each corner of the collar, but I’m still not sure! Also I’m going to cut the sleeves off, because I love love love sleeveless shirts so much, and I know this one’s going to look really cool.
THIRD sleeveless half-denim shirt
so yesterday I was watching Teens Reach like every other Sunday evening and my eyes caught the shirt Madison was wearing in this episode.

And somehow the first thought in my head was ‘I gotta make this!’. It’s not a thing internet is full of DIYs of. Actually I couldn’t even found it! But it really looks like something you could make yourself, so why not try and figure out my own way to make it? I’m so excited I think I’ll start this week!
FOURTH Canvas painting
I’m quite sure you have seen this going around tumblr, canvas of bright careless strokes of paint which looks like a pallet of color try outs and a work of art at the same time. After seeing it multiples of times on my dashboard I want it hanging on my wall. That must be the easiest of my DIYs, I have paint and canvas, I just need to choose some nice colors.
I hope you enjoyed reading this! And is there even a slight chance you got inspired? If so, tell me some of DIYs you have already did or planning to do, leave it in my in my ask box, I would love to read some of your ideas!
