BERGDORF BLONDES
Good times of me being a true loyal customer of library are back. I went there for a totally different reason: to find that boring book about war I need to read for school assignment. There were none of them left.. so I brought “Bergdorf Blondes” by Plum Sykes. I’ve been interested in it since I read P. Sykes’ ”The Debutante Divorcée”. The novelist also works for Vogue, her novels are all about Manhattan’s elite, parties, dumb Park Ave’ princesses & fabulous it girls. There’s no page in the book which isn’t full of brand names (like Chloé, Chanel, Hermès and lots of more..) All in all, the book is all about chic-y stuff, does not have any dramatic storyline or anything. But sometimes I really need something like that to read, it’s like a fashion magazine turned into a story.
